Ice Cream Shop
Brix Haus is a modern ice cream shop in Brooklyn that specializes in fun, whimsical flavors using the highest quality ingredients. Led by Tara Glick, a NYC pastry chef with over a decade of experience, these ice creams are sure to delight. The first location, in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, opened in 2022. Brooklyn Magazine declared it “some of the best new ice cream to hit the town in years.” November 2023 saw the opening of the Park Slope location, and Brix Haus Cafe in WIlliamsburg followed in January 2024.
Brix Haus was named after Tara’s dog, Brix, who was named after the unit of measurement that is used in pastry to measure sugar.
Our Ice Cream
Combining the technique and taste of American style frozen dessert with Italian gelato, Brix Haus's ice creams feature a smooth, creamy consistency with flavors that delight. Each flavor is carefully developed to hit the right balance of sweetness while providing interesting additions and textures.
